Top level badminton coming to Pembrokeshire!
Haverfordwest Badminton Club are delighted to announce we will be hosting the 2024 West Wales Graded competition in Pembrokeshire.
Sponsored by Valero, this will be the first time a top level badminton competition has been played on the west coast of Wales for over 30 years.

The schedule
Information will be shared closer to the event but the order of play will be:

9am - Men's Singles
9am - Woman's Singles
tbc - Level Doubles
tbc - Mixed Doubles
How to pay
Once you have had an email confirming your entry form, you'll need to transfer the money into our competition bank account.

Refunds will be permitted until 9am Thursday 20th June. Later withdrawals and requests for refunds will go before the organising committee.

The format
Group games
Best of 3 games to 15 points.
No setting
​
Knockout stages
Best of 3 games to 21 points.
With setting​
​
No change of ends unless you reach a third and decisive game.
(change ends at 11 points).
​
Doubles pairs will play in the higher of the 2 grades. For example if you have a G and H pair, then they will play in the G graded tournament.

Normally the Sports Village doesn't have any food but we've invited 'The Bearded Chefs', to cook up some hot and delicious treats.
​
Known locally for their exceptional food, they'll be outside the venue from 10am to 3pm, serving a hot and scrummy menu especially for us. That menu will include baguettes, chips and a something similar to katsu chicken curry.
​
