Safeguarding at Haverfordwest Badminton Club
At Haverfordwest Badminton Club, the safety, welfare and wellbeing of every member is our highest priority. We are committed to providing a welcoming, inclusive and respectful environment where everyone can enjoy badminton free from bullying, discrimination, abuse, harassment or inappropriate behaviour.
We believe that everyone has the right to participate in sport in a safe and positive environment, regardless of their age, ability, gender, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation or background.

Safeguarding is Everyone's Responsibility
If you have a concern about the welfare or safety of a member, or witness behaviour that causes concern, please report it. You do not need to be certain that something is wrong before raising a concern.

If someone is in immediate danger or requires urgent medical assistance, please call 999.
All concerns will be treated sensitively and handled in accordance with current safeguarding guidance. Information will only be shared with those who need to know in order to respond appropriately.

If you would prefer to speak to someone directly, or would like more information about safeguarding, please contact one of our Club Welfare Officers. You can speak to either Welfare Officer about a concern, ask for advice or discuss something that is worrying you.
