At Haverfordwest Badminton Club, the safety, welfare and wellbeing of every member is out highest priority. We are commited to providing a welcoming, inclusive and respectful environment where everyone can enjoy badminton free from bullying, discrimination, abuse, harassment or inappropriate behaviour.
We believe that everyone has the right to participate in sport in a safe and positive atmosphere, regardless of their age, ability, gender, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation or background.
Our club is committed to:

Promotoing a safe and enjoyable environment for all members

Following the safeguarding polices and procedures of Badminton Wales

Provide clear reporting procedueres for anyone who has a safeguardign concern.

Ensure any concerns regarding welfare are taken seriously and dealt with appropriately.

Encourage all members, volunteers, coaches and visitors to treat each other with respect, fairness and dignity.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsiblity. If you have any concerns about the welfare or safety of a member, or if you witness behaviour that causes concern, we encourage you to speak to the Club Welfare Officers as soon as possible. All concerns will be handled sensitively, confidentially and in accordance with current safefguarding guidance.
