How to pay for your membership...

We actively encourage all players to register as Badminton Wales members. Membership provides valuable insurance benefits, including personal accident cover (which includes physiotherapy support) and public liability insurance while taking part in recognised badminton activities.

Haverfordwest Badminton Club is committed to providing a safe and enjoyable playing environment for all players. However, participation is at your own risk, and the club cannot accept responsibility for injuries or liabilities arising from participation. We therefore strongly recommend that all regular players become Badminton Wales members to ensure they have appropriate insurance

A membership with Haverfordwest Badminton Club costs £20 annually (September) and offers a few practical benefits, especially if you play regularly:

Lower weekly playing fees – Adult members pay £8 per session instead of £9 for non-members. The annual membership fee is £20, so if you attend around 20 sessions or more each year, the membership pays for itself.
Badminton Wales affiliation – Your membership includes the club's affiliation with Badminton Wales, membership provides personal accident and public liability insurance (including physiotherapy support for eligible injuries), allows participation in Badminton Wales tournaments, partner offers and regular updates, and supports the continued development of badminton across Wales.
Support for the club – The annual fee helps fund:
- Badminton Wales affiliation
- The club website
- Administrative costs
- Keeping weekly playing fees lower for everyone.
Lower racket stringing charge.
Access to coaching

Is membership worth it?

If you play:

Less than 20 sessions per year – paying the non-member fee may cost about the same or less.
20 or more sessions per year – the £20 membership typically saves you money, in addition to the insurance and supporting the club.

The best way to pay is by bank transfer directly into our club account on the night when paying your weekly fee.
